“Oh yeah… I’m 1… and loving every second of it!”
{this is what was happening when i arrived. matt holding ben while he slept. i think matt was asleep as well, but i woke him… and shareen holding the sleeping lilly}
I was so touched to be able to document a few hours of life at the Springer household. What an amazing job they are doing as parents, and the babes are thriving and HAPPY as can be. After spending a few weeks at the hospital, I think they are all relieved and happy to be in the comforts of their home. There are so many things I want to say about this amazing family, but I think I will let you see it visually. Ben {I nicknamed him Bean} is growing and growing and trying to catch up to his sis. I have a feeling one day he’ll be just as tall and handsome as daddy.
Thank you for letting me into your home. I am hoping to go back every so often and check on and document your sweet family.
xoxo
If you are local, I’ve set up a meal delivery for them… they will really need this when daddy goes back to work which is SOON. Here’s how you can sign up to get a nice meal to them. MEALS FOR MATT&SHAREEN. Thanks for looking a enjoy a glimpse into “life with twins”
Bean loves his sis so… grabbing tightly to her hand. And gave her sweet kisses while she slept.
Ms. Lilly was asleep almost the whole time I was there… so we put things on her head and documented her sweet slumber.
Per request of daddy, “Ben in a Boot”. So tiny and precious.
Daddy snapped a pic of me holding sweet Lilly. I’m so smitten with them.
The weather finally shaped up so we could do the adorable Travis Family session! We had a beautiful day with the sweetest family. Neve and Landon have such cute personalities. So distinct and different. Thank you so much for donating to the Children’s House Montessori School. I love when people actually USE their silent raffles. I adore your sweet, fun and adorable family!

So excited to have a GUEST BLOGGER write some words for me as I’m not the best with my words… more with photos. When a couple gets engaged, there seems to be an unending list of “to do’s” – pick the bridal party, decide where to hold the ceremony and reception, register for gifts – the list goes on and on. There are plenty of places you can look to find out what to do, when to do it, and how long it might take. This long and exciting journey is mapped out in an infographic by Wedding Paper Divas for every young couple. One of the first, and possibly one of the most important items is to pick a date. This obviously needs to be coordinated with the location of the ceremony and the reception, and to get the date and location you both want means you could be making arrangements 12 to 24 months ahead of the actual date. While that may seem like a long time, once planning is underway, you will be amazed how fast time flies by!
A great way to let everyone know about the upcoming happy occasion is to send out “save the date” cards. These can go out as far in advance as you would like (a standard time period is six to eight months before the date) and can help let people know you want them to attend your wedding. A save the date card can be a fun way to introduce your soon-to-be-spouse to family and friends who may not have met your “other half” just yet as well as set the mood and theme for the wedding. WeddingPaperDivas.com offers many save the date card options that you can customize to your style. Here are a few ideas to get you started.
First, think about where and when you are getting married. Will it be a casual summer wedding by the ocean or a formal fall wedding? Let that come through in your save the date card design. Have you picked your colors for the bridal party? Use those colors in the type styles you select. Those kinds of design decisions will also help your guests understand your vision for your wedding – formal and fancy, traditional, modern, relaxed – all this will clue your guests in to what to expect at your wedding.
Something that is both fun and functional is a save the date magnet! You can send it out like a standard card, but the magnet can reside on the kitchen ‘fridge (just like all the other magnets). This will be a regular reminder that your date is nearing!
Finally, don’t forget to consider using photos. You could use anything from a formal engagement portrait to a casual photo that was taken of the two of you during the summer. Something that could be really fun is using childhood photos of each of you. It will definitely give a sense of nostalgia to everyone and everyone loves to see old photos!
No matter what you chose, don’t be afraid to let your creative side fly. And make sure you keep a few for yourself! You’ll definitely want them to look back on many years later. There are beautiful keepsake boxes you can get from places like Pottery Barn to capture your special day.
With our whirlwind before our vacation time… I never got a around to posting Everett’s 3rd birthday party and Easter fun. It was such a great time and I have a couple people to thank for that:
1. Of course all his little friends that came to celebrate.
2. Beth Dix from Delectable Catering and Desserts for making his ADORABLE cake! It was SO YUMMY, and so cute! She is SO good at what she does, so go and like her page and check her out.
3. Flying fish Kids’ Gym for hosting all the kiddos… and adults. So great to have it somewhere else {other than one’s home!}
4. My mother for making the adorable banner for all of E’s birthdays to come and my studio.
Happy Birthday Everett… so hard to believe you are 3 already… where oh where does the time go!?!?
xoxo
{oh, and a funny little story, there was an easter celebration going on at the Mtn. Mall so it was packed with people and things to do… all the kiddos, including E wanted to play out there. ha! also, E was a little overwhelmed by the attention when it came to blowing out his candles, so his buddy Vance blew them out for him! Love it!}
Happy 2nd Birthday to sweet Audrey. What a personality she has! Such a light she is. Her grandparents got to join us again this year for a fun session. It’s hard to believe she is two, and that her 1 year session was one of the first in my downtown studio. Enjoy this fun year of life and laughs sweet Audrey!!!
xoxo
Audrey checking out her 1-year photos… way to sweet.
Man do I love my couples. Torrie & Charlie came up for the weekend from Colorado on a planning trip for their July wedding. I had talked to Torrie on the phone and emailed back and forth with her… and just knew we would hit it off. They were so much fun, and I’m so excited to be doing their wedding and another Tanya Gersh Event! T&C are so dang cute together. With Charlie’s drop dead smile, and Torrie’s STUNNING beauty, it was an easy session. Can’t wait for your GORGEOUS wedding.
{a special THANKS to Matt at Coffee Traders for making the LOVELY LATTE ART}

Savannah is SUCH an amazing, silly and ADORABLE new sis to her little brother. I adore these images and this family. Welcome to the world sweet Maddox. You are SO handsome and such a blessing.
